22" to 24" twisted macrame cord (measurement is from the back of your neck to where the lobster claw hangs at your waist) If you would like your lanyard longer or shorter let me know when ordering.
 
I use 1.5mm macrame cord for all of my macrame lanyards. From experience, I don't like having a bulky lanyard. This lanyard cord was doubled, yet still is very sleek and non-bulky.
